Churchill Protects Your Identity and Credit

When you apply for a mortgage, credit reporting agencies will likely share your information to use. Because of this, you will likely receive Email or phone calls that you didn’t ask for you and offering you options for refinancing your current home (if applicable), opening new credit cards, or other loan products. If you would like to stop these Emails and phone calls, you can choose to opt out of these pre-screened credit offers. Call (888) 567-8688 or visit www.optoutprescreen.com .

Credit Report: When you submit a loan application or a request to be pre-qualified, pre-approved or to become a Churchill Certified Home Buyer, you authorize us to share your credit report with our affiliates only to process your home loan application.
Online Help: Churchill has an interactive chat function on our website. If you choose to communicate an online discussion via your desktop computer or via phone with a Churchill Mortgage support member, you may be asked to provide your information so we can assist you further with the mortgage process. Please note - we won’t ask for any personal information when using this service, but if you do provide this information it will only be used to respond to your request. We maintain transcripts of our chat sessions with you.
Tools, Resources and Form Registration: We provide several ways for you to explore your options for mortgages, so you can determine which options may be the most desirable for you. You can engage with a variety of tools such as calculators, online chat, quizzes, etc. without providing your identity. Churchill will not ask for personal identifiable information to use these features. We also do not attribute the information provided to you. If you find a home loan option that you’re interested in, please register on the website and supply identifiable information needed to continue processing your application.

By filling out a form and registering on Churchill Mortgage’s website or webpages, your contact information and any supporting information will be saved. Churchill will use your contact information to send you alerts and updates regarding your loan status, which is part of the Churchill Mortgage service before, during, and after the loan process is complete. Churchill Mortgage does not share your information with outside companies for their promotional use. We may use it to send you communications on other products and services offered by Churchill Mortgage. If you do not want to receive this information you may opt-out of future communications by sending an Email to insert email address here. We may your provided information, on a confidential basis, to our service providers (such as title companies, appraisers, credit reporting services, etc., who assist us in qualifying, processing, closing and servicing your mortgage).

Emails, Blogs, and Newsletters: We provide you the opportunity to subscribe to Email newsletters and blog Emails, as well as Email communications. You may unsubscribe by sending an Email to optout@churchillmortgage.com. Or clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each individual Email.

Contests, Sweepstakes, and Surveys: We may offer you the option to participate in sweepstakes, contests, or client (or potential client) surveys. If you would like to participate, we may ask you for contact information, preferences or other information. This information may be used to contact your regarding award prizes, home purchase or refinancing options, or our research to improve our offerings. All of Churchill Mortgage’s contests or sweepstakes have separate rules and we will identify how the information that you supply will be used in each case. Each contest or sweepstakes will have a separate link to the separate rules and conditions on each communication.
Service Providers: In some instances, Churchill will employ or use service providers such as title companies, appraisers, consultants, and temporary workers, to complete a business process or provide a service on our behalf. For example, we may use service providers to enhance our website technology and send Emails. When we employ these third-party providers, we may need to share your personal identifiable information. Please note that all of Churchill’s service providers are prohibited from using your personal identifiable information for purposes other than to act on our behalf for mortgage-related business.
Service Alerts and Important Notices: Although we respect the privacy preferences you have expressed, we may need to contact you to inform you of certain changes that may impact your ability to use our service or for other critical non-marketing purposes. We may also contact you to respond to your specific requests,or to clarify information you provided to us.
Optional and Mandatory Information: We identify what information is required to fulfill your request. If you chose not to provide mandatory information, we will not be able to provide you with the full service you are requesting. As part of your use of Churchill’s website, we may collect information that will include your name, address, Email address, phone number, social security number, the location and value of the property related to the requested loan products or services, financial information about your assets and income, financial accounts, insurance and other information. As part of this process, you consent to Churchill Mortgage obtaining a credit report on your behalf and for us to use that information as described in this policy. We will also collect information about your activity on the Churchill Mortgage websites and use that information as described in this policy.
Email Messages: When sending you Emails, Churchill Mortgage may use software to send Emails and determine whether you’ve opened an email, clicked on a link within an email, or if you were redirected back to our website or webpages. We use this data on an aggregate level to evaluate response rates to our Email messages and to determine which links are most useful to our client base.
Within the Churchill Mortgage Family: Within the Churchill Mortgage family, which includes our title company, Churchill Title Solutions., we may exchange customer information to fulfill your requests or to provide you with information about other products or services, if you have chosen to receive such communications.
Change of Control: Your personal identifiable information may be transferred in connection with a sale, merger, transfer, exchange or other disposition (whether of assets, stock or otherwise) of all or a portion of a business of Churchill Mortgage. 128-Bit Domestic Grade Strong Encryption: Churchill Mortgage uses 128-Bit Domestic Grade Strong Encryption, a powerful encryption commercially available for Internet products. (However, be aware that if you are using a 40-bit browser, your encryption level, while secure, is not the highest level available. United States citizens can download free 128-bit browsers from Mozilla, Apple, orMicrosoft.

Churchill Mortgage works to protect your personal identifiable information stored on our site's servers from unauthorized access using industry standard computer security products, such as firewalls and carefully developed security procedures and practices. All Churchill Mortgage employees must review and sign a statement of these practices which include but are not limited to: limiting access to sensitive information to only those employees who require the information and enforcing strict password protocols for all employees. Why Churchill Uses Internet Technologies

Here is how and why Churchill Mortgages uses common web technologies to help manage our websites and webpages:
