Kathy Cook oversees the Closing and Funding Department of Churchill Mortgage. As Vice President of Closing, she and her team make sure all closed loans meet lending guidelines, including state and federal regulations. Kathy also oversees the day-to-day activities of the Closing and Funding team, whose priorities include tracking the accuracy of documents, turn times, and customer satisfaction. Her number one priority and goal is to close loans as quickly and accurately as possible while ensuring the sales team can perform their best in the process.
Having been with Churchill for over 22 years, the opportunities Kathy has been provided with are plenty. Beginning in set up, she quickly moved to processing where she spent 12 years culminating in the position of Processing Manager. She then moved on to Closing Manager where she spent the last decade working through the ranks as Assistant Vice President and now Vice President of Closing. She is a two-time Churchill Mortgage Broomsweeper Award recipient and has been named Processor of the Year.
Having spent so much of her career at Churchill, Kathy has had the honor of watching the company grow and seeing how a vision of helping customers get on a smarter mortgage plan can be brought to life.

Whether that’s a client, Home Loan Specialist, processor, title partner, I believe the business we conduct everyday should be relational, not transactional. When I successfully execute my beliefs, our clients will close their loans on time and our Operations team will continue to be Churchill Mortgage’s number one source of referrals.
